Model report — Transport facilities (~170 words)

Introduction
The aim of this report is to describe the transport facilities available in our area and suggest how they could be improved. Information was gathered by means of a short survey of thirty local residents.

Current situation
The main form of public transport is the bus service, which runs every thirty minutes. There is also a train station, although trains only stop here twice a day. Most residents use their own cars for daily travel.

Problems identified
Several respondents complained that buses are frequently late and overcrowded during rush hours. A number of residents also mentioned that there are no cycle lanes, making cycling unsafe.

Recommendations
It is recommended that the local authority increase the bus frequency and introduce dedicated cycle lanes on the main roads. This would reduce car use and improve the daily experience of residents significantly.
