The DELF B1 validates your independent use of the French language. It certifies that you can navigate most situations encountered while traveling or living in a French-speaking environment.

The Reading comprehension paper tests your ability to understand articles and texts on topics of general interest. You will answer multiple-choice questions and provide short written justifications for true/false statements.
Each of the four papers is scored out of 25, for a total of 100 points. To pass, you need a minimum overall score of 50/100 and at least 5/25 in each individual paper.
