Basic everyday phrases and vocabulary — the entry point for DELE.
The DELE A1 (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) is an official Spanish language certification for beginners issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Spain. It confirms you can understand and use very basic everyday expressions to satisfy immediate needs at the CEFR A1 level.

Task 1: A short text (notices, posters, messages) followed by 6 statements. Indicate whether each statement is true (V), false (F), or not mentioned in the text (ND).
Task 2: A brief text on an everyday topic with 6 multiple-choice questions (A, B, or C).
Task 3: Six statements that you must match with four very short texts (A, B, C, D).
Each paper is scored out of 25. To pass, you must obtain at least 60% in each group: comprehension (reading + listening) and expression (written + oral). The minimum passing score is 30/50 in each group.
