Part 5 — Reading (Multiple Choice)

One long text (about 700 words), six 4-option multiple choice questions in text order. Tests deep comprehension, inference, attitude, opinion, purpose, vocabulary in context.

Strategy

• Read the text once for general meaning before looking at questions
• Find the relevant section for each question — questions follow text order
• Read carefully — the wrong options often contain words from the text but distort the meaning
• Watch for attitude/inference questions: look for the writer's tone and word choice
• Time guide: 15 minutes
